Name: Saturated Thickness (ft), 2016 (Elk City Sandstone)
Display Field:
Type: Raster Layer
Geometry Type: null
Description: Saturated thickness raster of the Elk City Sandstone aquifer in west Oklahoma. The raster displays the thickness of the water level (potentiometric) surface in the Elk City Sandstone aquifer to the base of the unit. Saturated thickness ranges between 0-199 feet, with an average saturated thickness of 56 feet. The map was created by subtracting the base elevation from the potentiometric surface for the Elk City aquifer. It was made in ArcMap using the Minus tool and the potentiometric surface raster (PotSurf_T2R_clip_20170526_proj_JS) and the base elevation raster (Base_EC_20180201_proj_JS). The Reclassify tool was used to reclassify negative values near the edge of the aquifer to zero.
