Layer: Potentiometric Surface Contours (ft) (Canadian River) (ID: 1)

Name: Potentiometric Surface Contours (ft) (Canadian River)

Display Field: contours

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolyline

Description: The 2013 potentiometric surface map was interpolated from 140 wells completed in the Canadian River alluvial aquifer, measured between January and March of 2013. The water-table surface is shallow, typically less than 30 feet below land surface. The measured water levels were supplemented by additional water levels from completion reports provided by the OWRB to the USGS. Analysis of the water-table surface map indicates that groundwater flows from the surrounding bedrock units towards the alluvial deposits and main river channel.
